XiriPoints Loyalty Program

The Loyalty module manages the XiriPoints loyalty program, which rewards customers for purchases and engagement on the XiriGo marketplace. The system uses a hybrid cost-sharing model where both the platform and vendors contribute to loyalty rewards, with FIFO-based point expiry.

Loyalty Dashboard

The loyalty landing page provides a high-level overview of the program's health:

MetricDescription
Total Points OutstandingTotal XiriPoints currently held by all customers
Points Issued (MTD)Points earned by customers this month
Points Redeemed (MTD)Points spent by customers this month
Points Expired (MTD)Points that expired due to FIFO expiry rules
Fund BalanceCurrent balance of the loyalty fund (platform + vendor contributions)
Active MembersNumber of customers with a non-zero points balance
Redemption RatePercentage of issued points that are eventually redeemed

Fund Tracking

The loyalty fund tracks financial contributions and liabilities:

Platform Contributions

Portion of loyalty costs funded by the platform. Configurable as a percentage of each point's value.

Vendor Contributions

Portion of loyalty costs funded by vendors whose products were purchased. Deducted from vendor payouts.

Redemption Liability

Total EUR value of outstanding unredeemed points, representing the platform's future obligation.

Tiers

Loyalty tiers reward customers for sustained engagement and spending. Customers progress through tiers as they accumulate qualifying points.

Managing Tiers

View all configured tiers with their requirements, multipliers, and member counts.

  • Points threshold — Lifetime points needed to reach this tier
  • Earning multiplier — Multiplier applied to base point earnings
  • Maintenance requirement — Points needed per year to maintain the tier (optional)
  • Benefits description — List of benefits displayed to customers

Changes take effect immediately. Customer tiers are recalculated automatically.

Tier downgrades (when a customer fails to meet maintenance requirements) can be configured to happen quarterly or annually. A grace period is applied before downgrade.
