Financial Management

The Finance module is the financial nerve center of the XiriGo marketplace. It covers commission configuration, vendor payouts, the full transaction ledger, and financial reporting. All monetary amounts are in EUR.

Commission Rules

Commission rules define how much the platform earns from each sale. XiriGo supports a flexible, layered commission system.

Rule Types

Platform Default

The baseline commission rate applied to all sales unless overridden by a more specific rule. Example: 12% on all sales.

Per-Category

Override the default rate for specific product categories. Example: 8% on Electronics, 15% on Fashion.

Per-Vendor

Custom commission rate for a specific vendor, overriding both default and category rates. Example: 10% for Vendor ABC.

Per-Vendor-Category

The most specific rule: a rate for a specific vendor in a specific category. Example: 7% for Vendor ABC selling Electronics.

Rule Priority

Rules are applied in order of specificity (most specific wins):

  1. Per-Vendor-Category (highest priority)
  2. Per-Vendor
  3. Per-Category
  4. Platform Default (lowest priority)

Managing Commission Rules

Go to Finance > Commission Rules in the sidebar.

The rules list shows all configured rules with their type, target (category/vendor), rate, and status.

Click Create Rule. Select the rule type, target entity (if applicable), commission rate (percentage), and effective date range (optional).

Click any rule to edit its rate or date range. Toggle the active switch to deactivate a rule without deleting it.

Commission Tiers

For high-volume vendors, you can configure tiered commission rates that decrease as sales volume increases:
